Changelog

What you can now do, newest first. A plan in brackets means that plan or above.

Forms: documents people fill in, sign and have approved

  • Build a form

Start from one of eight templates (leave request, expense claim, job application, onboarding and more) or a blank page. Add text, choices, dates, files, photos, tables, consent and signatures, show a field only when an earlier answer calls for it, and start a new A4 page where you want one.

  • Send it to anyone, or to named people

Share one link, or paste a list of people and give each their own link, sent by email once your workspace can send email. See who has been invited and who has opened their link.

  • Fill in and sign on a phone

People answer one section at a time, with problems explained in plain words, a signature drawn or typed, files and photos, and tables of rows that add themselves up.

  • Approvals with steps and decisions

Send each submission through up to six review steps, each a named person or a role. A reviewer approves, asks the person for changes or rejects, with a note, and can approve many at once. Several steps and deadlines are on the Enterprise plan.

  • A record you can keep

Download a submission as an A4 PDF with its signatures and its history, many at once as a ZIP, or all of them as a spreadsheet. Every submission shows whether its answers are unchanged since they were sent in. Place a legal hold or delete a submission, and print a blank copy of any form.

  • Encrypted fields and automatic deletion [Enterprise]

Keep answers such as ID numbers and bank details encrypted so only people allowed to read sensitive answers see them (this needs an encryption key set up on the server), and delete submissions automatically after a number of days.

Know how accurate a result is, and be told when something happens

  • Notifications

A bell in the top bar and a Notifications page tell you when a survey you made closes or passes a milestone, a follow-up opens or is assigned to you, someone accepts your invitation or an expert answers. Switch any kind off on your profile.

  • How accurate a result is

Results now show the margin of error on a response rate, the 95% range around an NPS, whether a change since the previous wave is statistically significant (or why it was not tested), and who has answered by any contact attribute such as department. A series page marks the questions whose change between the latest two waves is more than chance.

  • Who has answered, on Home

Under the live survey on Home, the Room shows who has answered group by group (by department, location or any contact attribute), each as n of N, which groups have enough answers to compare, and a link from each group to its results.

  • Expert profiles

Every listed expert has a public page with their field, languages, rate and verification, and “Ask this expert” starts a question with them already chosen. Experts who keep their name private appear under a code.

  • End a survey your way

Close a survey after a number of responses, send people to your own page a few seconds after the thank-you, and write what a closed link says.

  • A survey’s own look [Team]

Choose a survey’s typeface, corner style and background, and see it on the respondent’s page at once.

  • Sample workspace

“Explore with sample data” fills Home with a live survey, 36 invented people and their answers so every screen has numbers in it. One click removes it. Nothing is ever sent to those people.

  • Your account, your data

Download your data and delete your account from your profile, with a clear list of anything that must be settled first. Privacy, Terms and Data processing pages describe what wrkflow does with data.

  • A calmer top bar, and faster pages

Navigation moved into a pill in the top bar, and the wrkflow loop shows while a longer task runs. Each page reads your account in one round trip instead of several.

  • API reference and this changelog

Every endpoint, scope, error and webhook signature is documented on the API reference page, at /docs.

A new look

  • Soft tactile design

Filters, menus, the survey builder, settings, templates, sign-in and results moved to one design language: tinted tiles for what needs you, lifted segments for the view you are on, and charts drawn in slate.

  • Survey studio

A survey gets its own logo and accent color where it is written, and its pages include Build, Send and Results.

The whole app in ten languages

  • Ten interface languages, Arabic right to left

The survey builder, contacts, experts, integrations and settings now speak English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Slovenian, Croatian and Arabic. Languages other than English were written by a model and have not been reviewed by native speakers yet.

Interface languages for research screens

  • Results, polls, dashboards and templates in ten languages

The presenter, poll remote and TV dashboard follow your language. Text people wrote, such as question titles and answers, keeps its own direction.

Dashboards, machine translation and 32 survey languages

  • Custom dashboards [Team]

Build dashboards from widgets, share them with people or by a read-only link, and show them full screen on a TV.

  • Machine translation [Team]

Translate a survey and read written answers in your own language, with the original one click away. It is off until an administrator turns it on, it needs a translation provider set up on the server, and it never sends answers to sensitive questions.

  • 32 languages for respondents

Respondents can answer in 32 languages, including Arabic right to left, with emails and texts in each person’s own language. The words were written by a model and have not been reviewed by native speakers yet. PDFs draw Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic and Devanagari text; for other scripts the response is delivered without a PDF.

  • A command-center Home

Home ranks what needs you, and lists, saved views, density settings and the command menu work the same way everywhere.

Drafts, polls, crosstabs and the enterprise controls

  • Save and continue

People can leave a survey and come back to the same question, and a Drop-off view shows where people stop.

  • Live polls: rating, ranking, open text and Q&A

Run polls in a room with moderation, sessions and a phone remote.

  • Crosstabs and significance [Team]

Compare groups in a banner table, with significance testing and exports.

  • Manager reports [Enterprise]

Give each manager a link to their own group’s results, with small groups always protected.

  • Guided survey creation

Start from a goal, get a checklist as you write, and review a survey before publishing it.

  • Integrations hub

One place for every connection, with setup guides, health and a way to ask for help with diagnostics attached.

  • Connected accounts

Save responses to OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive and Sheets, Salesforce and HubSpot, and sync contacts from BambooHR, Personio and Workday. Each needs its sign-in keys set up on the server first.

  • Identity and security

Sign in with Microsoft (where the installation has switched it on), SCIM provisioning and deprovisioning, audit log streaming to your SIEM, IP allowlists, session timeouts, and sensitive questions whose answers are encrypted before they are stored (this needs an encryption key set up on the server).

  • Lookups and prefill [Enterprise]

Build request forms on your own data sources, with ID checks that fill in later questions.

  • Email deliverability and texts

Unsubscribe links, bounce and suppression handling, and survey invitations by text message (texts need a text-message account set up on the server).

  • Zapier and Make building blocks

REST hooks and polling triggers let you build your own Zapier or Make integration. wrkflow does not publish an app in either marketplace.

  • Expert queries

Ask experts a question, with badges, away dates, incognito mode and a public directory. Every expert is reviewed before they are listed. Payments run in test mode until card payments are switched on.

Sending, analytics and reports

  • Send queue, scheduled sends and reminders

Invitations and reminders go through a queue, can be scheduled in your organization’s time zone, and remind only the people who have not answered.

  • Trends, heatmap and key drivers

Follow a series of waves over time, see results by group in a heatmap and find what moves the score, always labelled as correlation.

  • Alerts and follow-ups

Open a follow-up when an answer matches a rule, and email the people who should act on it.

  • Shared reports and exports

Share a read-only report by link and export results to PowerPoint and PDF.

  • More question types and logic

Ranking, slider, date, image choice and file upload questions, display logic, branching from scales and hidden fields from the survey link.

  • Slack, Microsoft Teams and Google Sheets

Post counts and rates to a chat channel and keep a spreadsheet up to date.
